El salmantino Juan
Cáneba es ilustrador y dibujante, tiene numerosos trabajos en prensa,
ilustraciones en libros que han sido publicados en Corea y Estados Unidos,
ilustraciones en carteles publicitarios, caricaturas de políticos de todo el
mundo y ahora también retrata perros. Juan ha Trabajado durante más de 20 años
con distintos medios nacionales y regionales como “ABC”, “La Gaceta del Grupo
Intereconomía”, “El Jueves”, “La Gaceta Regional de Salamanca”, “Tribuna de
Salamanca” , “Diario Hoy de Extremadura” y “la televisión autonómica de
Castilla y León”. También he sido ilustrador de las editoriales españolas
“Anaya” y “Everest”, así como de la británica “Barefoot Books”.
He desempeñado el
cargo de Director de arte y diseño del grupo de empresas MRS.
Desde el año 2.009
hasta la actualidad soy colaborador habitual del diario nacional ABC.
Dibuja desde muy
joven y empezó profesionalmente a los 17 años, en un periódico local, La Gaceta Regional ,
donde publicaba diariamente. Desde entonces no ha parado.
Juan tiene preferencia
por la acuarela.
Su trayecto
internacional comenzó acudiendo a ferias del libro en Bolonia y Frankfurt.
Su interés por
retratar perros viene del aprecio que tiene hacia ellos.
Sin duda en sus obras
puede observarse el apego que tiene a los perros, pues se nota cuando las cosas
están hechas con cariño.
Juan Cáneba hace
envíos a todo el mundo y se le puede hacer encargos personalizados o comprar
los cuadros que ya tiene pintados.
